Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

The Cubs meet every Wednesday during term time from 7 – 8.00 pm.

We usually meet at Kettlebrook Lodge and take part in a range of activities in and around the hall. We occasionally meet elsewhere for visits and walks in the local area. We are a lively but caring pack who enjoy adventure and games.

Our evening programme in Cubs includes regular team games, walks, arts and crafts and a great diversity of badge work which has seen us cover activities from pond dipping to crystal making to computer programming. Much of this is outdoors when the weather allows.

In a term we will usually cover two or three activity badges from the Cub Scout programme along with challenge awards for team work, adventure and life skills. Some favourite activities include regular fire building and cooking in the Autumn Term, torch walks in the Spring Term and our end of Summer Term water fight
